What determines the price
Two things: the programme and the number of lessons. Rates differ by programme because the tutor expertise required differs — an IB Higher Level physics specialist and an IELTS writing specialist are not interchangeable, and the pool of people who can do each well is a different size.
The per-lesson rate falls as the package size rises. That is not a pressure tactic; longer engagements are easier to plan and schedule, and the saving is passed on. A student who needs six lessons should book six.
What a lesson includes
Ninety minutes of one-to-one teaching
With a subject specialist, online, at a fixed weekly slot.
Preparation and marking
Work set between sessions is marked and reviewed, and that time is not billed separately.
The written study plan
Produced after the diagnostic and revised at checkpoints.
Progress updates
Written updates against the plan for the student and, where wanted, for a parent.
How the dirham figure is produced
Rates are held centrally by the TestPrep group and converted to dirhams at the live exchange rate rather than at a fixed internal rate. That means the figure shown is the figure charged. If a rate is unavailable at the moment you load the page, a price row is hidden rather than shown as a stale number.
