What we do
We prepare students for international examinations and support them in school subjects, one-to-one and online. The exams we cover are the ones UAE families actually face: SAT and ACT for American applications, IB, AP, A Level and IGCSE within the curricula students are already studying, IELTS and TOEFL for English requirements, and the graduate and professional tests above those.
TestPrep UAE is the regional presence of a group that also operates in other markets. The teaching approach, the tutor standards and the systems are shared; the content on this site, the programmes emphasised and the way they are explained are specific to students here.
We are an online service
TestPrep UAE does not operate a teaching centre, campus or office in the Emirates, and we do not claim a local licence or accreditation. Lessons are delivered online to students wherever they are in the country. If that matters to your decision, it should be clear before you enquire rather than after.
How we think about tutoring
Two things shape how we work. The first is that a tutor should be a specialist in what they teach. A student losing marks in SAT Reading and Writing does not need someone who covers the whole test adequately; they need someone who teaches that section closely. So tutors are assigned by subject and section, and where a student needs two areas lifted we use two tutors rather than compromising.
The second is that preparation should be measurable. A plan with a date on it, checkpoints along the way and a written record of what changed is harder to drift through than a standing weekly appointment. It also makes it obvious, early, when something is not working — which is the point at which it can still be fixed.
Working in two languages
This site exists in full in English and Arabic because the households we work with do too. In many UAE families the student studies in English and the parent prefers to read about fees, scheduling and progress in Arabic, and a translated fragment of a site does not serve that.
The same applies to lessons. Teaching can be in either language, while exam terminology stays in English throughout, because that is the language the paper is written in and swapping it out would help nobody on test day.
