Why the cohort usually wins here
YOS examines mathematics, geometry and numerical or abstract reasoning against a defined syllabus with almost no verbal load. That combination — fixed content, minimal language dependence, heavy repetition — is exactly what a group course is good at. Fifty-four live lessons with twelve practice tests costs a fraction of the equivalent one-to-one time, and because every candidate is working through the same syllabus, very little of the cohort’s time is spent on material a given student does not need.
One-to-one earns its price in two situations: a candidate with a specific mathematics gap that would hold them back in a cohort, and a candidate preparing on a compressed timeline who cannot wait for the next intake. If neither applies to you, the cohort is the better value and we will say so.
Confirm what each university accepts
Some Turkish universities accept a centralised result, others run their own entrance examination, and a number accept the SAT instead. Requirements and dates differ per institution and change between years, so confirm with each university on your list before buying preparation for any of them.
One-to-one lesson packages
Every lesson is 90 minutes, and you keep the same specialist for as long as you are working on their area. Where a student needs two areas lifted — SAT Math and Reading and Writing, say — that is two specialists rather than one generalist, and the package covers lessons with either. The per-lesson rate falls as the package grows, and the single lesson exists so you can meet a tutor before committing to a block.

There is no published expiry on a package — lessons are used at the pace you and the tutor set — and the exact terms come with your quote in writing before you pay. Unused lessons are not treated as forfeited: depending on the circumstances they can be rescheduled, moved to another subject or sibling, or refunded under the refund policy.
Group course
A live online cohort following a fixed syllabus and timetable, at a fraction of the one-to-one cost. 54 live lessons, 81 taught hours. It suits a student who is on track and needs structure, rather than one with specific gaps.

A cohort starts when its cohort starts, so the date is not yours to choose the way a private schedule is. AP and TR-YÖS have their calendars published on the group courses page; for the other exams an intake opens when enough students are at a similar level, and we will tell you when. Any three students who come together can also have a group opened at this same price.
Study on your own
Neither of these needs a lesson booked alongside it. They are bought and used on their own, and plenty of students only ever buy these.
