Do I need to book lessons to buy a question bank?

No. It is a standalone product. Plenty of students buy one and prepare entirely on their own.

Can I buy just one section?

For most exams, yes. SAT splits into Reading and Writing and Math; GMAT into Quant, Verbal and Data Insights; GRE and PTE similarly. Full-access plans cost less than buying the sections separately.

Which exams have a question bank?

SAT, GMAT, GRE, PTE, AP, YOS, plus Reading banks for TOEFL and IELTS. Exams without one are prepared using official past papers instead, which for school qualifications is genuinely the better material.

What happens when the access window ends?

Access simply stops. There is no auto-renewal and no charge you have to remember to cancel. If you need longer, you buy another window.

Is a question bank the same as a practice test?

No, and they do different jobs. A question bank is for drilling types; a practice test is a full-length timed sitting that tells you where you stand. Most students need both, at different points.

Why a question bank beats a textbook for exam practice

A textbook is organised by topic, which is how the subject is taught but not how the exam asks. An exam question rarely announces which chapter it came from; the skill being tested is recognising the type under time pressure and knowing which move it wants. A question bank is organised the way the exam is, so practice builds the recognition the paper actually rewards.

The second difference is the explanation. Getting a question wrong tells you very little on its own — what helps is seeing why the attractive wrong answer was attractive. Every question here carries a worked solution written to answer that, not just to restate the correct option.
