What the redesign changed about preparation
The test now runs about an hour and a half, Reading and Listening adapt to your answers, and a 1 to 6 CEFR band is reported alongside the 0 to 120 total. Adaptive sections change what practice is worth doing: a fixed set of easy questions no longer builds anything, because the test will move away from that level as soon as you answer well. Preparation has to be pitched at and slightly above your actual level, which is precisely the judgement a tutor makes and a book cannot.
The other reason candidates buy lessons here is the integrated tasks, where you read, listen and then speak or write about both. There is no equivalent in normal use of English, the scoring rewards a specific structure, and getting that structure wrong costs points in a way no amount of general fluency compensates for. Five to ten lessons on integrated tasks alone is a common and effective purchase.
Material written before 2026 is now misleading
Books and free banks describing a three-hour test with 30-point sections and no adaptivity are describing the previous format. They are not merely dated; practising to them trains pacing that no longer matches the paper. Check the publication date before you buy anything, including from us.
One-to-one lesson packages
Every lesson is 90 minutes with the same tutor. The per-lesson rate falls as the package grows, and the single lesson exists so you can meet a tutor before committing to a block.

Packages do not expire on a fixed date; they are used at the pace you and the tutor set. Unused lessons are refundable under the terms on the refund policy page.
Group course
A live online cohort following a fixed syllabus and timetable, at a fraction of the one-to-one cost. 45 taught hours. It suits a student who is on track and needs structure, rather than one with specific gaps.

Neither of these needs a lesson booked alongside it. They are bought and used on their own, and plenty of students only ever buy these.
