Why curriculum matters more than location in Dubai
Dubai has an unusually broad spread of curricula in a single city. Two students living in the same building can be sitting IGCSEs, IB Middle Years assessments or an American high-school transcript, and the preparation each needs for a university application is different in timing, content and sequence.
That is the first thing we establish, before anything about exams. A student in the British system applying to the United States needs the SAT added to a schedule that already has A Levels in it. A student in the American system applying to the UK may need to demonstrate subject depth through AP that their transcript does not show on its own. Same city, different problems.

Scheduling around a Dubai week
Dubai schools run a Monday-to-Friday week with the weekend on Saturday and Sunday. In practice that makes weekday evenings from around five o’clock and Saturday mornings the two most-requested windows, and both are widely available because the tutor pool spans several time zones.
The other scheduling reality is the school calendar: a long summer break, and terms that end with assessment clusters. Families who use the summer for intensive work and term time for lighter maintenance generally get further than those who try to keep a constant weekly load through a term with three internal deadlines in it.
We are online, and there is no Dubai centre
TestPrep UAE does not have a teaching centre, office or campus in Dubai. Lessons are delivered online. For most families this is the point rather than a compromise — an hour of Dubai traffic each way is an hour not spent studying — but it should be clear before you enquire.
