Preparing when the threshold is fixed
A significant number of students in Abu Dhabi are working towards a specific, non-negotiable number: a scholarship condition, a sponsorship requirement, or a conditional offer that states the grade exactly. That changes how preparation should be planned, because "as high as possible" and "at least this" are different problems.
When the target is a threshold, the sensible strategy is usually to secure it with margin in the subjects where the marginal gain is cheapest, rather than to push hardest in the subject the student finds most interesting. Students outside the city
The emirate extends well beyond Abu Dhabi island, and families in Al Ain and the Al Dhafra region have historically had far fewer options for specialist subject tutoring than families in the capital. Online delivery removes that gap entirely: the tutor available to a student in Al Ain is the same tutor available on Saadiyat, at the same times.
This is the clearest case for online tuition in the country. A specialist in IB Higher Level Chemistry who suits a particular student is not going to be available for a weekly in-person lesson in Al Ain, whatever the family is prepared to pay. Online, the question does not arise.
