What a specialist means here
A tutor on this service teaches one thing. Not "the SAT" but SAT Math, or not "IB" but IB Chemistry at HL against the current syllabus. This sounds like a small distinction and it is the largest one in tutoring. A student losing marks in SAT Reading and Writing does not need somebody who covers the whole paper adequately; they need somebody who has taught that section enough times to recognise, from three wrong answers, which of the six or seven underlying habits is causing them.
The practical consequence is that a student who needs two areas lifted gets two tutors. That costs us scheduling complexity and it costs the student nothing extra, and we do it because the alternative — one tutor stretching across both — is how a plan quietly becomes general revision.
How a tutor is matched to a student
Matching happens after the consultation, not before, because the consultation is what determines which specialism is needed.
The consultation establishes the actual gap
Current performance, target, deadline and — for curriculum subjects — the exact board and specification. A match made without the board is a match that may be teaching the wrong syllabus.
We name the specialism, then the person
The requirement is written down first: "IGCSE Physics, Edexcel, Year 11, weak on electricity". Then we find who fits it. Doing it the other way round is how availability starts deciding pedagogy.
The first lesson is a check, not a commitment
A single lesson is purchasable precisely so a student can meet the tutor before buying a block. If the fit is wrong, say so and we will rematch rather than defend the original choice.
Language preference is confirmed before booking
Tell us at the consultation which language you want the lesson taught in, and we will confirm what is available for that subject before anything is booked, rather than after.
Why there is no photo gallery on this page
Most tutoring sites publish a grid of faces. We have decided not to, and the honest reason is that the grid would not be load-bearing. The tutors shown on a page like that are rarely the tutor a given student is matched with; the roster changes; and a photograph tells you nothing about whether somebody can teach Edexcel Further Maths. It performs trust rather than providing it.
What we will do instead is tell you, before you book, exactly who your tutor would be, what they teach and what they have taught it against — and let you spend one lesson finding out whether that is true. That is a slower claim to make and a much harder one to fake.
Group figures, and whose they are
TestPrep UAE is the Emirates arm of a group founded in 2008. The numbers below belong to that group, earned overwhelmingly outside the Emirates. They are published here attributed rather than implied, because a UAE parent reading "15,000+ students" should not come away thinking fifteen thousand of them were here.

We publish no UAE-specific outcome statistics, because the UAE operation is new and any number we printed today would be drawn from too few students to mean anything. When there are enough, they will appear here and they will be labelled as UAE figures.
What we are not claiming
No tutor is described here as resident in the Emirates, because tutors are international and scheduled to UAE time. We hold no UAE teaching licence or local accreditation, we have no partnership with any UAE school, and we publish no reviews or testimonials — not as a modesty position, but because we have no verified ones to publish.
